Custom made 12 stringed Basilisk viola d’amore for a player who wanted a basilisk carved into the pegbox and the fire theme throughout. Carving of the head and rosette was done by Canadian master carver Phil White. The rest of the instrument including the custom pegs, bridge, crested tailpiece, and fire themed purfling were all made by Olivia Pelling. Oil varnish on high quality European spruce and maple.
